Medical Weight-Loss

THRIVE is excited to offer a Semaglutide weight loss program in Fairlawn, Ohio.

These medications are a protective factor, minimizing the risk of developing life-altering and potentially deadly conditions such as heart disease, high blood sugar and stroke.

We recognize that obesity is a chronic disease. Hormones play a big roll is obesity. We have the tools, science, and support to make a real difference in your weight. It’s not just a matter of willpower.

We combine MICC injections with the Semaglutide or Tirzepatide to boost the weight-loss effect. When combined with our nutritional counseling, you are set up for success.

Our Programs Include:

  • Weekly Semaglutide in Office by a clinician or at Home by you. We will sit down and determine the best plan for you.

Semaglutide is a Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Receptor (GLP-1) Agonist. It boosts the production of insulin. It decreases hunger and increases satiety by regulating the hormones responsible for body weight. This medication is appropriate for individuals aged 18 and older who are not pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have diabetes, speak with your primary care provider before taking Semaglutide. This medication may not be available much longer in compounded form. More details to follow.

Tirzepatide is no longer available at Thrive Aesthetics. The FDA has taken tirzepatide off the shortage list and so we can no longer get compounded tirzepatide. Any compounding pharmacy still compounding tirzepatide runs the risk of being sued by Eli Lilly, the maker of Zepbound (tirzepatide). If you are interested in this medication, please reach out to your primary care provider to prescribe Zepbound. Zepbound is available to patients without insurance at a cost of ~$350-$500. See https://zepbound.lilly.com/ for more details. Tirzepatide is a dual agonist for the Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 (GLP-1) and Glucose-Dependent Insulinotropic Polypeptide (GIP) receptors. Similar to semaglutide, it decrease hunger and increases satiety by regulating hormones responsible for body weight. There are similar criteria and contraindications for semaglutide and tirzepatide treatment.

  • Weekly MICC Injections given in Office by a clinician. Not available at Home.

Methionine, Inositol, Choline, B12 assists with our bodies’ natural metabolism in breaking down fat cells. MICC is further like “three shots in one” that aids in the digestion of fats and carbohydrates, serves as a powerful antioxidant, and boosts energy.

  • One-on-one meetings with our weight loss prescriber and Registered, Licensed Dietitian.

Our program favorably differentiates from the slew of others by providing real, substantive support. Weekly check-ins with our registered and licensed dietitian. The presence of accountability helps motivate patients to meet their goals.

Weight loss resources. We empower you with all the tools needed to stay in your best health.

We want our program participants to THRIVE… look better, feel better, have more energy, and report fewer aches and pains. A loss of 5-10% of one’s body weight reduces the risk of cardiovascular events, improves symptoms from osteoarthritis, and prevents or delays the onset of Type 2 diabetes. Weight-loss can also improve mood, physical function, and provide better sleep.
